What Customers Say About Makita ML120 12-Volt Pivoting Head Flashlight:

Love this flashlight.Did not realize that it did not come with the battery.I had an extra from my cordless drill but i thought when i bought it was included.I need to make sure and read all of the print. It is agreat light though. Thanks Again

This light is bright and handy. I can set it up to stand by itself and the light will illuminate quite a long distance.

I initially got one for trial (we already had the batteries & chargers for other tools) and it held up pretty good in an industrial/heavy mfg environment, so we bought a bunch more. When it does, the reflector & spare bulb (we learned not to keep it there). It's a good thing that the head "snaps off" the body, as that happens quite a bit when dropped to a concrete floor. The only negative is that the lens ring (black part on the head) doesn't have sufficient threads to hold on, so it frequently comes apart in big falls. go flying too.All in all, it's definitely a quality tool that puts up with abuse. If you plan to use it daily, suggest you purchase a bag of spare KPR12V bulbs as they don't last long with good batteries (50-100 hrs tops).

It's shakey, which is surprising in this day and age, because there doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it up. After a long power outage, I got this light because I have a matching Makita drill. The choice was a good one, and I consider it a good purchase, but the head swivel is sloppy. On the other hand, everything works, and I can't imagine how the swivel sloppiness would cause any greater problems. The removable power supply lasts a long time, the charger seems to be of the "smart" variety, since I haven't had any creeping memory problems, and the lamp throws a good, strong beam of light.

Wow, this thing was bigger than what I was expecting. Much bigger than the old DeWalt flashlight I had which I think I paid about the same price as this Makita. What else is there to say, bright light, comes with a basic shoulder strap.a much better value than the 12V Dewalt flashlight I had before. Awesome flashlight.
